Merapi No Longer Scary
Mount Merapi, which was originally feared by many people due to eruption in October and November 2010, now no longer feared. Many visitors from different regions came to see the damage caused Merapi eruption directly.

Hundreds and even thousands of visitors come at the disaster site every day. Some of them set prices ranging from Rp.5000,00 to 10,000,00, but most of them ask for voluntary donations. To restore their economic condition, they plan to make tourism program called "Lava Tour". There, tourists will be treated to a variety of local arts and provided dirt bike, other than that they were invited to help re-green the area by planting trees.
